Our automotive offices in Newport and Alexandria are now open to the public without an appointment. The offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm. The Newport office is also open late on the first and last Monday of the month until 6:00pm. The Alexandria office is open late the first and last Thursday of the month until 6:00pm.
We encourage you to avoid the lines and do your renewals by mail (send check to 1098 Monmouth Street, Newport, KY 41071); online at www.drive.ky.gov (you will need your title number (on postcard), license plate number and a credit card) or by phone at 1-877-885-3017. There will be a credit card charge.
