Motor Vehicles
Motor Vehicle Licensing is the most frequently visited area of the Clerk’s office. Motor vehicle licenses must be renewed annually and any sale of a motor vehicle must be registered within 15 days of purchase. Below is a list of motor vehicle transactions. Land Records & Other Recordings
One of the most important responsibilities of the County Clerk’s office is the recording of land records. Recorded instruments date back to 1786. The most common documents recorded are deeds, mortgages, and assignments, and mortgage releases. This link will take you to the recording requirements for the most common documents.
